Deploying? Ask about storage coverage
If your car will sit parked while you're gone, some insurers let you drop to storage coverage, which usually keeps theft and weather protection and pauses the rest. Ask before you cancel anything. A gap in coverage can raise your price for years.
Military discounts are not all the same
Some insurers take a percentage off for service members, veterans or their families. Others offer nothing. Comparing quotes side by side is the only way to see who gives you the most.
Own a home? Quote it with the car
Putting your home and car with one insurer usually earns a multi-policy discount, and you get one company to call when something goes wrong.

Is this a government or military website?
No. Military Benefits Academy is a private company. We aren't affiliated with the Department of Defense, the VA or any branch of the Armed Forces, and we don't hand out government benefits.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Insurers and EverQuote pay us when people ask for quotes, so you never get a bill from us.
Who will contact me?
EverQuote, Inc. and companies on its partner list may call, text or email you with quotes. We don't call you ourselves. You'll see the full consent wording before you send anything.
Will this affect my credit score?
No. We don't check your credit. Insurers may run a soft check when they quote you, and soft checks don't change your score.
How do I stop the calls and texts?
Reply STOP to any text. Ask any caller to put you on their do-not-call list, which they're required to honor. You can also email hello@military-benefits.academy and we'll pass your request to EverQuote.
I'm stationed overseas. Can I still use this?
Yes, as long as the car or home you want to insure is in the U.S. Use the ZIP code where it's kept, not your APO or FPO address.
Do you sell insurance?
No. We aren't an insurer, agent or broker, and we don't recommend policies. Licensed insurers and agents give the quotes and sell the coverage.
